This book was a disappointment. There were really only a couple of ideas in this booklet. There are many, many photos - so perhaps some might be inspired or find this useful as a coffee table book. I did enjoy perusing the photos of the work done by this author and others using this technique, but I just did not feel that there was enough content to justify the price. Previous publications by this author had set my expectations to a level that was just underachieved by the author with this publication. I felt that the price was a bit high given the lean content and the paperback format.Product details

Excellent book for fused glass artists. Written well and easy to follow.
As a fuser, I am always looking to try new materials and techniques, and metal inclusions are one of the last frontiers for me. Perhaps not the most useful as a reference "how to" book but encouraging in artistic expression, and lots of photos help visualize the expected result.
PK got it right on the money. Very little content and very disapointing considering his early books. 37 pages of mostly pictures makes this way overpriced.
OK - this is more of a photo essay than a "how to" book. Interesting ideas.
This is not a "book" but more like a pamphlet. There is some good information and ideas but I'm disappointed in what I received for the amount of money I paid.
A good reference for the beginner and a couple of new things for the experienced warm glass artist.

Thank goodness Boyce documented his experiences working with glass. It felt like having a conversation with him. He gave me a leg up with my own experimentation. Thanks.
